Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme – Eligibility Criteria, Application Form, Benefits

The newly formed Andhra Pradesh government has reintroduced the Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme as part of their recently announced Super Six schemes. This program provides financial help to AP farmers. Let’s explore what this scheme will offer farmers in 2024.

Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme 2024

The current AP government included the Super Six schemes in their election promises. Now, after forming the government with the NDA alliance, they aim to fulfill these promises.

The Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme is a key part of the Super Six, relaunched by the current CM, Chandrababu Naidu, to benefit farmers.

In 2019, when Naidu was the CM, he introduced the Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme. It was an extension of the PM Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana at the state level to support the state’s Annadata.

The government identified over 40 lakh farmers as beneficiaries in 2019. However, after losing the election, the scheme was renamed the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme by the YSR government.

Now that the Naidu government is back, they have reverted the name to Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme to continue providing financial support to farmers.

Under the revised scheme, farmers will receive annual assistance of ₹20,000.

Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme Eligibility

The government hasn\’t announced all the changes yet, but we believe the eligibility criteria for the Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme will stay the same. Farmers can check their eligibility using the criteria below:

  • Applicants must be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Farmers who own farming land or are tenant farmers are eligible.
  • The scheme is designed to help small and marginal farmers who need financial support.
  • Beneficiaries of the PM KISAN scheme will also be eligible for the 2024 Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme.

Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme Benefits

The upcoming Annadata Sukhibhava Scheme for 2024 will offer the following benefits to farmers:

This financial aid will be given in three installments. Farmers can expect around ₹6,000 per installment under the scheme.
