2024 T20 World Cup Super 8 Schedule: The groups and fixtures for the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 have been confirmed. ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 Group

The eight teams will be divided into two groups:

Group A

Four of the Super 8 qualifiers have previously won the World Cup: India, England, West Indies, and Australia. The Super 8 matches will be held at four venues in the West Indies: Antigua and Barbuda (four matches), Barbados (three matches), Saint Lucia (three matches), and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (two matches).

Each team will play against every other team in its group once. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, which will take place in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana on June 26 and 27, respectively.

How the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Super 8 Format Works

The Super 8s stage in the T20 World Cup features the top two teams from each of the initial four groups. These teams are then divided into two new groups of four, based on ICC seedings set before the tournament. For instance, England (B1) is in Group Two along with co-hosts West Indies (C1), South Africa (D1), and the USA (A2), who advanced from Group A instead of Pakistan.

In this stage, each team plays against the three others in its group, earning two points for each win. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for June 26. The winners of each group will play the runners-up from the other group. The grand final will be held on June 29 in Barbados.
